I am working as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Qualcomm, India. Previously, I worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Nvidia, working on HD Maps for Autonomous Vehicles. Prior to this, I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur with Bachelors (Honours) and Masters in Mathematics and Computing from the Department of Mathematics. My interests broadly lie in the field of 3D reconstruction and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM).
In the past, I worked in different areas in the fields of Computer Vision and Robotics. During my Sophomore year, I joined KRSSG working on Motion planning for Autonomous Soccer playing Omni wheel robots. Later I worked on Image Classification and Object Detection as part of Google Summer of Code with OpenCV organization, Instance Segmentation using Deep Learning based methods during my internship at Preferred Networks, Tokyo. I then transitioned to 3D Computer Vision working on Probabilistic Depth Estimation and Direct methods for Visual Inertial Odometry as part of a project funded by MNFIC, IIT Kharagpur.
